According to requirements of conventions on safety of navigation all seamen working on trading and cruise vessels must have special training in accordance with requirements of convention STCW 78/95.
Therefore all students who after training will work on trading and cruise vessels study the introductory program, which includes training of personal survival at sea, fire and water prevention and fire fighting, elementary first aid and medical care, personal safety and social responsibilities, proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats (boats, floating boats, life-jackets), crowd management, crisis management.
Finally students pass examinations in one of certificated and licensed training centers which located in Sevastopol, and receive international certificates according to requirements of convention STCW 78/95.
